Unique event for student coders - Codepool 2013

codepool2013There has never been an event like this for students in Liverpool...

CodePool 2013 will comprise of the best and most relevant local developers, companies and employers, along with some of the bigger entities in programming coming together and giving a series of tutorial type talks on the subjects that up and coming student developers and creatives need to know about. Live coding, side-project break-outs, competitions and the chance for local organisations to engage with the next generation of talent.

CodePool 2013 - 21/22 March 2013 @Liverpool Quaker House, School Lane, Liverpool One

The format of the day will consist of a single track in the morning with subjects such as Windows 8 app development, Android development, Data Scraping, Raspberry PI, Windows Phone XNA game walkthroughs and HTML5. The afternoon will split into 2 tracks with different agendas, for instance while one room runs 'Design for Coders' the other will be running 'Coding for Designers'. Francis Irving, CEO of Scraperwiki is a guest speaker, as well as Lee Stott and Andy Wigley from Microsoft!

Breakfast, lunch and hot/cold drinks will be provided free of charge, dress code is casual nerd and BYOD is highly encouraged if not mandatory.
