HowwhyDIYbadgeHow Why DIY is an open festival of DIY technology and art which will be presented as a hands on friendly car boot sale taking place in the old Rapid Paint Shop August.

Artists, designers, entrepreneurs, makers and hobbyists will be showing the public how to use technology in their own way and on their terms. But they need you to run a workshop or could you contribute to the afternoon seminar or would you be interested in sponsoring an element of the event.

This is the first video in from Liverpool Social Media Cafe which took place on the 30th June. First up was Alison Gow, who gave a presentation on Data Visualisation, her presentation is now available on Slide Share, she also wrote a comprehensive round-up of the evening on the Echo Tech blog
