No More Mankey Monkeys - Finally being sold at auction on Thursday 29th at the Palm House then they're off to their new homes. Its been a fun charity event.

An exhibition of new works by the Liverpool Illustrators: Rhonda Davies, Keiron Finnetty, Mary Lundquist, Phillip Marsden, Louise Morgan, Jane Spencer

Liverpool artwork of the week 2010-17. ‘Liverpool to Liverpool: Chronicles of an Aimless Journey’ by Simon Faithfull. permanent public artwork at Lime Street Station.

Commissioned with the support of Liverpool Biennial, the 181 drawings are etched into the york stone paving and the glass panels that form the new frontage to Lime Street station. Most of the pieces were unveiled last week and we attended the launch event at St George’s Hall where the artist gave an entertaining and interesting talk about the project.

Liverpool artist Colin Serjent is staging a photography exhibition in the city depicting various and sometimes unusual forms of recycling initiatives taking place in the city. Examples of recycling he has portrayed in his exhibition titled 'Focus On Recycling', include Urban Strawberry Lunch, who make musical instruments from waste materials and found objects and perform them at gigs; and C.U.T.S (Communal Use Textiles Studio) on Slater Street, who stage workshops of sewing and screen-printing using recycled materials.
