Find out how to get involved.
You will record the interviews etc, edit the audio files and then upload them to a storage facility on our web server, where Defnet media can access them to place on our website, where they can be accessed by the downloading public.
Easy.
What do you have to have to be able to take part in this project.
1. an audio recorder
This could be a minidisk, a laptop with built in microphone, an ipod or other DAT/MP3 recorder. Anything as long as it will record sound and those sound files are easily transferable to a computer.
2. a computer with internet access preferably broadband
You will need to upload your finished sound files to our web server, so internet access is essential.
3. an idea of what it is that you want to produce
Here are some simple ideas of what you could produce
You should have an idea of what it is that you want to produce when you come along to the workshop, but we can give you training in interview techniques.
That is all you need to take part and the more people involved the better the project will be.
Or if you already produce your own content then send us an email to make contact and we can feature you on the Art In Liverpool FM
If you would like your work to be featured on Art in Liverpool FM then it would be useful for us to have the following information to accompany your MP3 File. REMINDER: Files should be in MP3 Format and under 100MB
Please include the following information with your submission
1. Your name
2. A description of the piece or peices
3. URL to your website
4. URL to the MP3 on your file server or use Sound Cloud to send us your file
5. Image: an image that you may wish to accompany your work.
6. Email address: so listeners can feed back on your work
If you don’t have your own server space then we can house your work on our server, then please upload your work to a free FTP server such as Mail Big File. Or you can use Sound Cloud's drop box here. Defnet Media cannot accept any responsibility for files that are lost in transit.
All audio must comply with our broadcast policy; in brief
If you feel that your material may be deemed offensive then please highlight this to us so we can work with you to try and accommodate it in a suitable format or with suitable warnings to listeners.
Thank you
